due to pain attacks that hit me every 5 to 10 mintues. THE pains was intense and lasted about 15 seconds in lenght. I had to close up my daycare business early, get my kids tended too, bring hubby home early from work and go to the ER room as per my weight loss surgery surgeon.
I knew if i didnt go this pain would not allow me one weeks sleep being they were hitting me so frequently and strong. I was thinking eiather my 98 lbs gone was causeing my gall bladder to have stones or kidney stones.
I arrived at the hospitol got admitted into the Triage area and when i was put in a holding room my surgeon Dr. AHMAD was right there to examine me and order tests. I again was so amazed how my surgeon treated me with full care and reassured me all would be fine and we will figure out whats causeing me this annoying pain attacks.
MY surgeon ordered CAT scan, GALL bladder sonogram, blood work up and urine analysis. TOLD me unfortunately with the holiday i would probably have a 3 hour wait for my tests but they will keep me comfortable if the pain kept persisting with some pain medication. I was glad to have my surgeon right there with me and of course thank heavens i had no complication of the surgery, no gall bladder stones and no kidney stones. I do have an ovarian
cycst that probably was cuaseing me all this pain.
THE good news was i guess the way i was laying on the stretcher in the ER the pain stopped and hasnt returned. I do have to follow up with my OBGYN now but otherwise i am fine right now. Was scary of course we hear alot of the horrors of weight loss surgery and you feel a bad pain that i never had and i worry. HOWEVER, my surgeon was so wonderful and supportive, i truthfully felt like i was his family the way he was there when i arrived at the ER that way. AGAIN i know i trusted the best man for my procedure and im thankful im still in fine health.
ON a happier note im 2 lbs away from 100 lbs gone and couldnt be happier.
And hopefully the cyst thing will be nothing of concern being i am PCOS!
Well thanks just had to share with my other family...
