    Re: Yippeee!! I'm FAT!

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone!

My move to Portugal has been brilliant, but it took over two months to get a phone line installed, and I now have to pay by the minute to use the internet, which is why you haven't heard much from me!

So many changes here... My son now goes to school instead of being taught at home, which means I get two 25 minute bike rides every day! The climate is *soooo* different - it took me weeks and weeks until I could run here, it was just too hot, but it's cooling down a little now and my body has adapted a little to the heat. And all the fruit!! I am going to *live* on fruit when I reach goal!!! We've been doing loads of building work, so my exercise level has been really good and my muscles just keep getting bigger. I think the biggest challenge for me here is cooking for my uncle, who is very ill and with a poor appetite, without getting tempted by his treats. Until he was with us, everyone in the family just ate what I decided I was prepared to have in the house, but now I have to deal with crisps, biscuits and porridge every day. It's hard handling them without nibbling, but my weight is still dropping even with the occasional lapse of willpower.

Sarah - you are looking really fantastic! I admit to being a touch jealous when I saw your latest photo, but I guess I'll get there too, even if I take a little longer. There's no way I could claim 'cheat free for 11 months', so I have to put up with taking a little longer to get there - I know I'll do it in the end!
