thanks everyone for the kind words.
ANd yes it is an accomplishment...many said i must feel great,
and honestly i thought i would at this point but truthfully i dont.
I seem to be going thru a bit of depression right now...i figure
i would be happy as anything, dancing around but im not actually
going thru the opposite and very weepy. HOPE to shake this soon.
THOUGHT it was the 9 days of rain we had but thats done, the sun
                    is out...but its not.

THANKS for the kind words i even thought shareing my joy on here would
help. I hope the cross over at the "BORDER" too onderland is more exciting
                    for me.
I do know from another message board for gastric bypass patients this happens
and im near that point so im hopeing its just a passing thing! THANKS for all the
                    kind words.

                      Lisa,
Hang in there. You've been through a lot the past year emotionally, physically and spiritually. I think sometimes our bodies have to stop and adjust to what has happened to us. I agree, you lose a great amount of weight and think that you immediately will become happy all day every day.

This is hard to explain, but when I went through this, I realized that the weight loss had caused me to start doing more, volunteering, working, reaching out to more people and thus...I'd fallen back into the routine of putting everyone first except me. I re-grouped and started making that necessary time for myself once again and I am feeling better. Pamper yourself, give yourself deserved pats on the back for your strength and determination to change what you didn't like.

You are a great inspiration ~ take care of yourself with rest, pampering and laughter.

                        Re: 101 lbs gone today!!!!!!!

Lisa-- whomever says that losing weight solves all our problems is fulla horsefeathers.

If that were true, than anyone who went from fat to thin in a country song would have their dog come back, their pickup run, and their husband win the lotto.

Truth is, even when we're thin, we're still going to have the same job, the same problems and the same life we had preciously. The only difference is us and how we choose to live our lives.

Not be a total accolyte, but if you haven't read Dr Phil's book about the Ultimate Weight Solution, now is the time. And if you're interested in learning more about it, we have a discussion group in the STAC forum going on right now.

Weight loss isn't just losing weight. It's getting our heads in the right place.

                        You can do it.
