Well, she is finally coming home today, after her 2PM med.
Her surgery went well on Friday (sorry I haven't updated sooner). The blockage in one of her ureters was very large and as soon as the surgeon cut it lots of cloudy urine started flowing freely out of it (a good thing). The surgeon feels that this should fix most of the problem. Without the ureterocele (what the blockage was, it should allow her bladder to regaina normal shape and maybe fix the reflux issue. She goes back in a month for a repeat of all of the tests. If the reflux is the same or better we let her grow, if not then we will schedule the more extensive surgery, which is the reimplantation of her ureters into her bladder (in her case four of them, normally just two).
So hopefully if we can keep her from getting another infection we should be able to back to some sort of a normal life.
Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
