Im a little frustrated so im trying to figure out where im messing up. I have been exercising everyday. I havent eaten anything that isnt acceptable. But the scale is not moving. I know... dont look at the scale, well i want to know if what im doing is working. The only thing i can think that i have done well is the water. Im not drinking enough water. Could not drinking enough water be stopping or severly slowing down my weigth loss?

i've been stuck about two weeks..i started exercising 15 minutes on a bike, now im at 30 on a resistance bike, i've been sticking to pretty much induction stuff although im not in induction, and i have definately NOT been eating more than i should on the acceptable foods.

Thanks for the input, BAM! Dr Atkins defines a stall as no change in either weight loss or inches for 4 weeks. You are probably in a plateau right now, as they generally tend to last 2 weeks! You might also look at caloric intake as being an issue. Too many or too few and you could plateau, then, as well!
I think you'll be fine. Just keep on keepin' on, and congratulations on your weight loss so far! You are doing terrifically!

I notice you stalled about your third or fourth week right? Have you looked on the "extended induction" board and read about what everyone here calls "PISS" - Post Induction Stalling syndrome? Almost everyone, including myself, stalled in their third or fourth week. Just our body saying "hey wait a minute just whwat do you think you're doing??" Just wait it out and your body will acquiesce and go back to losing, trust me, you are doing great!

So BAM as you are morphing your body losing body fat adding muscle mass and that fluid mass is in a constant stat of flux have you been using your tape measure to see the inches of fat melting off your body while the metal monster doesn't show the fat mass change. remember scales only measure total mass change.
ABout the water go read the FAQ on why you need to drink water to lose weight andc you can answer your own question. If you need any proof ask or water queen Admin Bren about how she busted her stall in 2003 by just upping her water.

depends on your health and where your doc has adviced you as to the intensity of your workouts.
Most folk use the 220 - their age as the max number and then max times .6 for fat burning and max times .7-.8 for cardio rates but there was never any scientific studies to prove the correctness or lack of correctness for that formula.by the book atkinseer
