geez guys I am having SUCH a hard time lately. I have been trying OWL and I cannot seem to get it right. I can't stand this 1 lb per month loss. This has been going on since Jan-Feb. It is soooo discouraging, I end up often "falling off the wagon" ..... uggghh... love and thumbs up for all the slow losers!! This is tough

Re: Gahhhhh!!
I would be jumping for joy for a 1 pound a month loss.... that's 12 pounds a year! I have been stalled for ages.... and even gained a few pounds which has stuck....Originally posted by cranberrygeez guys I am having SUCH a hard time lately. Re: Gahhhhh!!
You are so gorgeous! Gah yourself! *l* I know it is SO frustrating when you are SO close to goal! When I stall I try cutting calories a little (if they're not too low) and I add exercise. I also went back into induction. I've lost 6 pounds in the last week, so I can seriously attest it worked for me. Shake up the routine a little bit without going off-plan. OWL scared me, too, so I decided to do modified OWL (staying within 20 carbs and adding something new every 3 days to make sure it agreed with me). You might also try adding more carbs, or less depending on where you are.
Congratulations on doing so wonderfully so far! You are an absolute beauty!

Re: Gahhhhh!!
Wow, you are beautiful! I know how you feel. I am losing slow now too. I was losing 2-3 pounds a week and now I have only lost 2 pounds in the last 6 weeks. I try to tell myself that this is how I eat now. If it takes another year to reach goal then that is what it is going to take. I was hoping to keep losing at the rate I was, but no such luck.Michele SW250/CW 226/GW150 F, 38, 5'6"
I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Re: Gahhhhh!!
Just peeking in to say I love your new photo. The pink, aqua blue, and camo combo I would never have thought of but it works on you!
I remember seeing your other photos last year and your transformation is one of the most dramatic I have EVER seen! Just pull those photos out again and I'm sure the 1 lb loss a month will still be satisfying, slow as it is. You are so photogenic!Jackie Blue (I'm a good girl sometimes!)

momtofour - it sounds like you and I are pretty much in the same boat. Are you doing OWL or extended induction?
thank you everyone for the encouragement and compliments....... I know it's not the end of the world and we have no choice but to keep on keepin on..... some days are ok and others are just sooo frustrating! it helps to vent in here

Re: Gahhhhh!!
You keep hanging in there. Don;t forget how awesome th ehealth benefits from this WOE are, even with slow weight loss (I'm losing like a snail too.. finally lost 2 pounds in 8 weeks or so LOL). I love going to the Dr.'s now and getting blood tests though, everything is so GOOD anymore. Just for that I will never stop doing this. And for how I feel inside and out. This is good stuff.Female/45/5'5
