  • Feelin' blue...

This is not so much a rant thread as it is a whine thread. I am just feeling down today for no particular reason at all. Maybe it is that I am still stalled (the scale actually went up four pounds), that the weather is cold or that I am just weird. Ever have days like that?

Nope, I am not tempted to go eat something *bad* either so I guess that is good. I am just not into being up and moving today. Gosh, that sounds bad.

Anyone know a funny joke to get me out of this funk?

We all have those kinds of days, Deb. Mine are usually Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.!!!!

Just try to keep focused on your success - maybe that will turn your 'blahs' into 'yeahs'

BTW, what kind of 'ride' do you have? Looks a little like a Nissan Xterra.

      Jackie,

The new ride is a 2004 Mitshubushi Montero Sport 4X4. I have had it a week and I really like it. However, every time I go outside it is a tough choice because my other vehicle is a 1997 Trans-Am. Ah, the decisions.

We all have those days, trust me The good thing is that they pass!! I do find the days I really don't want to exercise are the days that I should exercise the most, because it always makes me feel better in the end. Easy to say, harder to do, though, I know!

Whenever the scale reads higher I get depressed, but there could be so many reasons for it - did you have anything really salty the night before? That's usually the culprit for me - makes me bloated. You're doing great, hang in there!

          Okay for a joke..
two peanuts were walking down the street. one of them was a-salted.

I could have my son play his armpit for you, my daughter can burp on command, and I can open my mouth and slap the sides of my face and play the William Tell Overture.

We'll be right by to serenade you with bodily percussion. Just don't ask what the 13 year old can do as an encore, mmmmmmmmmokay?

While reading this topic again, REM's "Everybody Hurts" came on the radio.

                  "Everybody hurts..........sometimes"
                  "Just hold on.............................."
