Hey, bud, how is the baby doing; I haven't seen an update for a little bit. I was sitting up tonight thinking, just reflecting on the day and such, and as I sat there thinking you popped into my thoughts.

I know we haven't spoken much. Truth be told, I don't think we have directly conversed any. When you welcomed your baby girl into the world and reported back to us, I rejoiced with the others, I prayed with the others as she entered those dangerous complications, and I rejoiced again when she returned home.

I guess I just wanted to let you know personally that you and your entire family are still in my thoughts and my prayers. I can't pretend to know the struggle your family has endured, but I am here for anything that I can offer should you have need of me.

Wow, this post caught me off guard.

All is well (although very busy), thanks for asking, I'm touched. The baby is doing well (no new infections) and she goes back on the 21st for a full round of diagnostic tests to see if some of her issues improved. I'm still around, although I'm keeping quiet, I feel hypocritical giving WOE advice when I'm off the wagon myself (7 weeks now, no excuses, just a simple fact). But I plan to restart soon to lose the dozen or so pounds I refound and lose some more of the remaining.

I'll post some new pics of the baby when I get a chance.

              Re: Jim

I'm doing OK, thanks for asking (not great, just OK). I need to get back on plan in a big way. My weight has drifted up about a dozen pounds or so. I'm not sure because I finally broke my daily weigh habit. I have eaten well but in moderation. I have indulged but not overly so. I fully intend to get back into strict plan form and soon, very soon. I have run sporadically, but my work on the addition has provided plenty of exercise, going up and down a 32' ladder dozens of times and hour does wonders, LOL.

I think Monday the 14th is a good day to restart for me, Gabrielle is being christened on Sunday and I choose to enjoy some of my favorite (albeit Atkins (semi-)illegal) foods before I do my new induction. No sense setting myself up for failure. But you're right, as much as my health has improved, it can improve a lot more.
