  • One year today

Well friends, I know I haven't been around much but I haven't run away yet LOL. It's been one year today since I joined ADBB. I've lost weight and gained a bit back. I've learned so much along the way. I know this WOL works. I also know that I am my own worse enemy. I've learned that I can't eat berries or franken foods or "low carb" goodies. I've discovered a lot of trigger foods mostly by falling flat on my face after eating them.

So far today I am sugar-free and I am committed to a clean induction once more time. I am a sugar addict and this will be hard, but I've done it before and I will do it again.

ADBB is part of my recovery so you will see me around lots, but right now it's time to go for my walk. TA TA For Now.....

rVery glad to see you back. Understanding where our trigger points and what causes us to fail only makes us that much more likely to stay out of those situations in the future. Congrats on recognizing yours and for surrounding yourself with people who want you to succeed almost as much as you do. We may never fully recover from our addiction, but at least we can manage. Here's to your recovery.

I'm glad to see you back too!!! It sounds like you are definitely committed and on your way!! I started once or twice a few years ago, stayed on it for a month, then gained it all back plus more. Happens to all of us. You still did great this year, a loss is still a loss and like you said you have learned so much!! And I know you'll be doing great this year too!!
