Well, after ending the first week on a downer with 1 lb gained, as of this morning I am down 4 lbs from there, 3 lbs from my starting weight. My faith in Atkins has been restored.

Atkins will never let you down, but that dang scale will. Are you taking your measurements? That really keeps you motivated cause it seems you shrink in size even when the scale doesn't show it. Congratulations on the 4 pounds down. Whoooppeeee!!!Starting Date 3/12/04 285/165/145 - F

Starting Nov 4th 2009 again at 195
First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

Oh...and by the way...
You bet your sweet bippy I'm celebrating!!! I'm soooo proud of my Alpha Wolf. He's embraced the lifestyle completely, and is having a blast trying new recipes. What he hasn't mentioned is that in addition to the weight loss, this past weekend he measured and found that he's lost an INCH off his waist!!! AND, he was tested yesterday when he went to breakfast with some of the folks in his unit, and he did very well. He's also been an inspiration to me, and has gotten me out of the food rut I was stuck in.
Okay...now I'm just gushing. I'll stop. Hope I didn't embarrass you m'dear.
