    Weekend Getaway!

Early tomorrow morning, dh and I are heading down to Montana for a mini romantic getaway! We try to do this alone, out of the city thing every 2-3 months! I have already planned our munchies and snacks for the road, it is about a 5 hour drive, and we always take a cooler with us! Eating out is no problem for us, as we are so conditioned and focussed on the low carb regime, that it is second nature for us. I'm also bringing an exercise video with us, as they have vcr's in the hotel rooms. I made sure the place also has an exercise room so I can get my workouts in! We'll be doing some power shopping, from morning till night, so I'll get my walking in as well! I hope I covered everything, and didn't miss anything out. Any suggestions?

Well, Cruiser, you did leave out the obvious but I'm assuming you are too ladylike to mention it. LOL Your plan sounds great. I'd love to go to Montana - big sky country. Make sure you do some walking outside and check out the big sky. Have fun!

Thx everyone. I'm gonna head to bed early, we're planning to leave around 4 a.m. to get there to hit the big Walmart sale! And Betty, I like the way you think, I'll stick some candles in my bag, and buy that sexy laungerie at Victoria Secrets, which is on my list. Will report back Monday.

OK everyone I'm back, and sad to have the wonderful weekend with DH end! Lotsa togetherness, romance, loving, and of course power shopping! We had some wonderful meals out, but it was not the focal part of our trip, which food usually was before. We were careful with what we ate, and were very selective. DH brought with his laptop, so I was able to do my SI6 workouts, as well as other workouts! We did lotsa walking and definately helped out the Montana economy. Even made it to the Walmart Black Friday specials, in fact we shopped till we dropped. All in all it was great! Now I'm off on Thursday to Toronto for 4 days, for training for a new job contract that I just accepted. Hopefully the hotel has an exercise room! Good to be back home! And tomorrow I will report on my weight situation, though I have good feelings about it!

And the verdict is.....I stayed the same weight, Yahhhh! I'll take that, as I knew I ate a bit more than usual, but I guess that exercise helped out big time! So you see it can be done, eating out every day, yet staying on plan, and being true to yourself!
