                    Hello everyone, and thanks for all the congratulations and well-wishes. Yes, I did propose, and yes...she did say yes!!!!!!!!
                    As for the details, those are still in the planning stages. However, I know a good thing when I see it, and a good girl when I see her, and wanted to pop the question and get the answer before she got away.
                    We have some planning and thinking to do before we settle on a date, place, etc. Be assured that we will keep everyone up to date as we go along, and you ALL are invited. Thanks again, and just in case you are wondering..we are BOTH very very HAPPY !!!

                          Aww...thanks everyone!! All your love and well wishes mean a LOT.

                          Here's what we know so far:

                          We'll probably get married in Arizona, most likely in Southern Arizona. There's a special school he has to go to in January, so when he returns in the spring and things settle down, we'll decide on the date. It'll probably be in the summer or fall of 2006. We're both very untraditional and like to do things differently, so our wedding will be completely unlike a typical one. We're envisioning a clearing in a pine forest, no bridesmaids, no groomsmen, no wedding presents, no tuxedos and no giving away of the bride. DS will be involved in the ceremony with us, which will have either a Native American or Celtic bent...or possibly both. Afterwards there will be a big outdoor barbecue/cookout...very casual and very fun. Of course everything will be Atkins appropriate. We've already settled on custom made rune-inscribed wedding bands. I don't have any dresses picked out, but I know it won't be a typical wedding dress. I'll share more on that when I find stuff I like....

                                Your wedding plans sound like the best kind of wedding. It will be a day that you can actually enjoy instead of being stressed out. How fun!
