I have just had to dart off on a 3day workshop for a course I am doing (it wasn't supposed to be yet but they had a spot). With an 8 hour drive each way (to Gloucester in NSW Hunter Valley) it became a 5 day odyssey.
I took the Esky (ice-box) and all my food for the time away (except at the Saturday BBQ I ate a handful of potato crisps
and have been berating myself ever since - and they weren't even that nice!), and chose a cabin at the local caravan park to stay because you can self-cater. I walked as far as I could each day, and am happy to report that the 20kgs already lost has made a real difference to my ankles and back when walking. Hardly ached at all!
I was very worried that I'd find it much hardr away from my routine but I just took it with me and it worked. I missed last Saturday's weigh in but will not do it mid-week, so will report back on Saturday.
And I met some just born alpacas, they are S O cute.
