Six month check up with my surgeon....

    Six month check up with my surgeon....

    And all things are perfect. ALL my labs are 100 precent in perfect range.
    HE was totally amazed by how well i have done. 113 lbs in six months since
    i had my bypass surgery.
    IT was a great check up and now im actually trying to figure out my
    final goal number which is something that was always to far away to
    even consider. THE doctor thinks i should be about 160.....We will
    see...right now my next goal is to have a BMI that is in just the overweight
    category and rid that horrible word obesite.....and thats only about
    8 lbs away.

    WELL thanks everyone for all your support. I know alot of my success
    is still cause i use my atkins rules with my gastric bypass procedure and
    its giveing me the sucess i need.

    I know how hard you struggles with your weight earlier and how hard you were trying in the notsofatrso challenge. I am so happy for you but I thought it was you were using your bypass as a tool for helping you do your Atkins and don't let anybody tell you yep you cheated and had surgery cause we all know you coulda overeatten the post surgery days too and been even bigger. you have worked hard and deserve every woo hoo wow coming out of folks mouths when they see you walking in the door.

      OMG, I just went and looked at your picture and had to put on my sunglasses!! Your smile says it all!! I just can't tell you how proud I am of you! You have done a fantastic job of improving your life. I just know that 2006 is going to be your year!!

      Congratulations. I know what you mean about fixing on a number to reach, but for now I'm leaving my for 145 and then the closer I get to that number, I'll re-evaluate. I hate the word obese too. I've been obese all my life and it will be so fantastic to see it behind me. Anyways, WHOOPPPEEEE LISA!! You are such an inspiration to everyone here. I am so happy for you!!!

          First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
          Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

              by the way, I'll never understand those BMI calculators. All the ones' I see on the internet tell me that I'll be "Obese" until I'm under 155. I have a hard time with that. Sure I'll still be overweight at 160, but Obese???? I just don't understand it..

              Anyway sorry for the tangent. You look amazing, congratulations again on all your success!
