  • Hello All! -Trying to get back on track!

    Well, I thought to myself, I could wait until next week to restart, or I could do it now, so why weight? I have been off plan in a hideous way since fall, and gained back 28 lbs. Many factors have contributed (stress- husband lost his job, daughter's b-day cake, Halloween), but I am in the mood to regain control, not just lbs. While I was looking over what made me a successful loser, I have to count in regular viewing and posting to the ADBB, right up there with ATKINS, , exercise, and good sleep. I have been trying to restart several times, but you know, ATKINS + CAKE = NOT ATKINS And somehow, ATKINS - ADBB = NOT ATKINS too. Everybody looks great - some gorgeous pics are out there. So, Merry Christmas to all, and for my special present this year I give myself the gift of good health. Let's all pass around this gift too. Much love, Ann

      I also tried to get back on Atkins many times and failed. I was able to get back on in April and It's been great ever since. It takes some strength to get through those first few days, but I'm sure you can do it. Just think, by spring you could be in onederland!

        Did Atkins back in 2005 and went from 262 to 182!
        Starting Nov 4th 2009 again at 195
        First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
        Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

          Hi Ann, welcome back! I'm sure you'll find yourself right back on plan rather quickly. You have been very successful in the past so I know you'll do it!
