  • I'm new here

I posted in introductions and I've been directed here to the century club. I made the decision LITERALLY this afternoon to do this WOL. I have dieted in the past and lost quite a bit of wegiht only to put it back on because I'm slacking (also an additional 10-15 lbs. give or take came with it). I've done Atkins in the past and did well with it. Of course, it's been some time since then. I'm a newly wed on a strict (VERY strict) budget, but I shop at Wal-Mart where there's always deals to be had! I'll be getting the book tonight after I come back from Curves...I joined back in September and haven't been since somewhere around mid-October. I'm wearing the biggest size I've ever worn in my life, 24/26 and NOT pleased at all. I look forward to the support and motivation I need here.

Welcome to the Century Club! I'm sure you'll do great and be out of those 24/26's in no time! Like you, I did atkins once before two years ago and gave up for some reason even though I was doing well. I think the major difference this time is that I found this messageboard to help me through, it really is a great source of support and encouragement, so stop by often to read and post

Kim I am also wearing the largest size I have ever worn and the one I promised myself I would never be again. After two children here I am there and one size larger. Now I have been on extended induction for 6 weeks and have lost 20 pounds that is about 3 pounds per week. If you do it well this is the most rewarding way of eating ever.

I was spilling out of my 22's in April. I am now in a size 14. It can be done.

Welcome and I can't wait to hear how the pounds are melting away.

I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!
