This morning I was feeling very fat. Since the semester started, and my schedule changed, I have not exercised plus I've fallin back into cheating again. As a result, my scale showed another gain.
At first I thought maybe I'll scrap Atkins and join WW instead. Right, spending $85 to join the online program will really fix everything. NOT!
Then I told myself to get off my butt and get out for a walk, but not just a stroll, a real exercise workout walk. I found my old walkman (actually I found 2 of them). Inside one was my Jenny Craig walking program Level 3. Next I found some batteries, but no headphones. So off to the dollar store for a $2 set. Back home again and a bit of rooting around on my bookshelf unearthed the Level 1 & 2 tape for the walking program.
Gloves, hat, coat, scarf, walkman and I was off. Half way though I found a park bench and planned to sit for a minute but it was covered in water so I just leaned on the arm-rest for 30 seconds instead.
I did the full level one 20 minute workout keeping pace with the music. I feel great!
To keep it going I've joined the ADBB group at the Presidents Challenge. This week is going to be different. Back to basics Water, Exercises, Food plan, no cheating.!!!!!
