    Hello all!

    I joined this board a few weeks ago when starting the 2 week induction and someone on one of my posts mentioned this forum!

    I never really think "OMG I have 100lbs to lose" -- but I do. I am on my way but I have alot to go.

    I can't figure out how to join the treadmill trekkies group but I want in. I joined a gym and have racked up the miles on the treadmill there!
    I feel better than I have felt in years and I am excited to meet my ultimate goal.

    I have read all the stickies and the stories of 100lb weight loss are both amazing and inspiring.
    I am the type that needs support or I will falter, so I am hoping I can make some buddies and gain some support.

    I am really babbling now!

    How do I do the spotlight thing?

    ee 200 on the scale by May 1st

    30 minutes weight training 4 days a week
    1 hour cardio (treadmill, aerobic class,stair master) 5/6 days a week

    Committed to losing this weight!

    Cindy, it's a real pull-up when you realise you have over 100lbs to lose, isn't it. I nearly died when I realised how much I weighed.
    You and I are about the same height so it will be interesting to watch your progress.

      Welcome!!!!

      Don't look at the big goal, make little goals, when you meet with sucess with the little goals, you will be more apt to go to the next goal. Look into joining Boot Camp. It helped me alot.

            Welcome to the century club!! For me, I was okay thinking I had a hundred pounds to lose, but I could never think I had MORE to lose then that! That's why my goal weight is "160" and not like 130 or something.. I thought, hey I can lose 100 pounds.. but if I had said "I need to lose 130" I would have been overwhelmed. Anyway, I thought If I could lose 10 pounds, I would just have to repeat that 10 times and I would be at goal..

            Anyway, welcome, and feel free to post any questions you have along the way

            Did Atkins back in 2005 and went from 262 to 182!
            Starting Nov 4th 2009 again at 195
            First mini-goal: 187 by thanksgiving
            Second mini-goal: 181 by Xmas trip to see in-laws in LA, size 14's!

              Hey Cindy welcome to the CC Club! 100 or more lbs, doesn't sound that bad, when you set yourself mini goals along the way. So you can celebrate many successess throughout. And of course, don't forget to reward yourself too! It will make losing the weight and the inches alot more fun!

                Yup I set myself 20 Pound Mini goals all along the way this Last Pound is really Ticking me off but, darn it I am gunna lose it by the end of this week and Officially be in the 100 Pound lost CLUB WOOHOOOO. If I can do it so can you girl. I am soooo happy you are here with us.

                  i had 36 lbs to loose and i always had thought that i am not gonna loose them ever,but atkins really work,i struggled with every stupid diet for 2 years and couldnt go below 56 kgs,and gained all back...
                  but when i joined ADBB,i had one thing in mind"baby steps"i set 4 lbs mini goal..and it really keeps me going.
