Oh my you eloped? Now that took some guts. Now that you have a partner this should be a breeze and think of all the new creative exercises you two can work up a sweat doing together. Caution with all this going on in your life a baby usually ends up in the near future. LOL

Hi. I'm fairly new to the board so I don't "remember" you, but I know what it's like to get "fat and happy" when you get married. I gained 30 pounds in the 3 months following my wedding. My husband weighed 145 when we got married, he currently weighs 166. He is by no means "fat" but on his 5'4" frame he has quite the belly. When I told him I was going to start Atkins again he was totally supportive and has even cut down on the Pepsi he drinks and has been drinking Diet Rite! He even started running again. It feels great to get motivated... just 2 weeks ago I was so depressed about my weight. At my grandmother's funeral and the "lunch" afterwards I realized I was the fattest person in my family. That really made me feel like crap. I got home, took responsiblity for my weight, and I'm down 10 pounds! (I'm getting close to a total of 50 pounds lost since Feb 05)

I totally get you about worrying about your health. I'm so afraid of getting diabetes. It runs in my family and recently my dad was diagnosed with it... so I decided that Atkins would be great and help me cut the sugar out of my life.

I'm excited for you... heck, I'm excited for all of us! LOL (I'm totally riding a post exercise high, so you'll have to excuse me) Good Luck, and Welcome!
