  • Missing my excercise!

    Hello everyone!

    I've been dealing with a sick 2 year old the past couple days and I have not been able to go to the gym at all. I feel so yucky and hope to be able to get back there tomorow as she is on medication for her double ear infection and feeling much better.

    I do not have any work out tapes here at home but I did attempt to walk in place a couple times just to get my heart rate up. And I did jumping jax and modified crunches.I sure do miss the daily excersice though! It;s my littel escape from stay at home motherhood! *LOL*

    good new though -- I am down another pound! I do feel good about that!

    I feel ya, Sahm... I was working out 7 days a week until I pulled a knee muscle. Then the husband gave me a 15-minute lecture about the importance of "rest days." He said I either had to take off one day a week or generally subsititute lower-impact exercise (I've been dancing and jumping).

    I sulked around all day on Saturday with that dull ache in my knee, dying to exercise. Isn't it great to be addicted to that rush? I can't believe I was never into it before.
    No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

      jones for a workout is great. Woo hoo you have hooked.

      Can you just put on a tape and dance whilethe baby naps? 30 min of dancing should give you a great cardio workout and many mnay muscles. We have some exercise shows on local cable if you have some you could tape them and do a workout when you had time.

      Hope the little one is well soon.

        I've been doing the slim in six videos and one of the moves is fantastic for your thighs--wide stance plies. I've lost 4" out of each thigh in just a few weeks!!

        Here is a link showing how it's done. Do 16 slow and then 8 fast. You can do it to music anywhere in your home.

            WOW! 4" ??? That is amazing! Thanks for the site! I am going to try it tomorow... and add it to my daily excercise!
