It was too big!!

As some of you may know my work is part of a community centre, and the building we are joined to is an opportunity shop. Yesterday I went there and the skirt I liked was TOO BIG! Oh, it felt so good to casually say "Oh, it's too big for me, what a pity". I did get 2 other nice ones for $2 each, though.
Too big - aaahhh!

I remember about 6 months ago I was in Evans ('Evans the Outsize Shop' as it used to be called on the fascia - yes really!!) and asked the girl to get me a smaller size of the stretch leggings I had lived in for the previous XX years.

She responded 'Madam we dont sell any smaller ones'

Wow what a buzz that gave me as I went into another shop (M&S) and bought a pair of size 20 jeans!

Dear Odille!

That's such a great feeling! It's those little things along that way that are soooo motivating!

You know, when youa re overweight / obese there are so many little things that we face, and the average weight person doesn't understand our trials and struggles. Clothes shopping is one of those things that we constantly are fighting with inside. Another thing that I think I constantly fight with is when I'm walking , let's say in the office or something, I feel I'm too big to pass through between a wall and someone standing, so I iwll just end up walking the long way around instead, when maybe or maybe not I could pass through but just don't want to embarass myself or ask someone to move unneccessarily. Know what I mean?

But that is great for you!!

Good for you!!!! I am having the same problem (not a bad problem) all my scrub pants are to big! BUT i cant get the knot untied to make them smaller!!!!
