• A "personal" goal

My husband's three favorite words

"I've been thinking".......

Seriously though. I was thinking today while I was doing laundry. Folding socks to be specific and my mind was wondering to what it WILL be like when the weight comes off and I have a good exercise plan, etc. Then something popped into my head....

Hey when I reach goal I want to get some of those sexy over the knee boots with the pencil thin heels. Preferably black, no wait, RED !!! Red sexy boots...

So yes I have all those regular goals off no more meds, normal size clothes, feeling more comfortable in my skin.... but this is my fantasy "personal" goal.

What's yours???

Ok, this is silly... but when I was bodybuilding, my goal was always to walk into a movie theater with my girl to see a movie and overhear someone whisper... "OH MY GOD! Look at his ARMS!"

I think that is still my goal, deep down inside.

My personal goal... I'd love to have a sexy black baby grand piano... my gosh... so beautiful. I love playing the piano (I've been playing for 12 years) and that is my most wanted and most expensive wish and want.

I want to not be embarrased when I take my shirt off. When I was at my biggest it never bothered me. But now that I'm losing I'm much more self conscious about it. I want to be able to do the whole slow shirt over the head revealing chiseled abs thing.

I can dream can't I?

Hmm, When I go somewhere as in the beach for a walk, or even to the mall I want people to look at me in the eyes. Through the years I've noticed that most people look off as if not to offend me with their; "Oh my god she's fat" stare.
Lord, my dream is to lose this weight and to be healthier.

HOLY CRAP! You are so right, and especially in stores. My best friend and I noticed how different people treat you... that is sales people. When we went to Macy's they hardly spoke to us and got away as quickly as possible. When I went with my sister in law (A size 0-2) They were so nice and charming and everything wonderful and good. I was like WHA???

Re: A "personal" goal

That drives me so crazy. I have become quite a B**** in my 30's. When I catch someone staring at me for whatever reason, I stop what I am doing and ask them if I can help them with something or is there something wrong. I usually get a surprised look "oh my the fat lady speaks"-- and a "oh no, I was.... uh.... I was....."

One time my family and I were at a restuarant and this lady kept turning around to look at me. I was getting really pissed off. I mean madder than a wet hen... (east tennessee saying)-- anyway, when we were getting ready to leave the lady turned around YET AGAIN and was looking at me. I told me hubbie and daughters to hang on just a minute. I walked over to her table (you should have seen the look on her face)-I simply said to her - "I have noticed that you have continually stared at me this evening- Do I know you?"- When she said no she didn't think so- I asked her why was she starring at me--- she fumbled and uhhhhed and her husband then said to me- honey she's just RUDE !! I just looked at them, smiled and walked away. Feeling good that I had embarassed them both....

I hate that. You know I don't stare at people who are missing limbs or are in wheelchairs and I don't stare at people who are heavier than me. I look people in the eye and say hello or smile to acknowledge them. GRRRRRRR !!!

Makes me mad just thinking about it.

My wish is to go out for a nice hike when we move to Hawaii with my whole family without getting out of breath AND wearing shorts. I am so embarrassed of my legs (I carry most of my weight from the hips down) that I never wear shorts.
