  • New week, new day, new beginning

I've haven't been around much for a few months. I've had a hard winter with lots of poor choices and denial. Actually it is have been a bad 6 months. I have lost and regained the same 10 pounds over and over again. Currently that 10 pounds is with me along with lots of other pounds.

This morning I woke up with my usual 3am hot flash and I decided to get out of bed and come to ADBB. It's time to get back on induction. The food list is right on my fridge staring me in the face every day. Yesterday I weighed in and took my measurements. But I did not committ and didn't last long.

Today I will stay on induction, drink a gallon of water walk my dogs for 20 minutes but I will try to go longer if I can. I will take my meds and my supplements. I have already done time with my journal.

Today will be a good day.

      Hey Michelle!

Well, think of it this way -- it is not how many times you fall, but how many times you get up.

Just keep doing the best you can and if you mess up, jump back on. Eventually, this will become habit or so ingrained in you that one day you won't even have to think about it.

Never give up! You can do this!!

welcome back log your exercise on yor pres challenge and we will track you so we know if you happen to jump off again.

Keep going even if you have a set back make the next bite Atkins acceptable andpractice carb harm reduction each time. soon there will not be a next time cause you will be back in the grove and doing it by rote.

Hey Michelle! It is good to have you back on here. Your story sounds so much like mine, including the hot flashes. Stick with us and we will help you get back to where you want to be. Take one day at a time. Get your water in as well as your exercise. You can do it. I happen to know Michele's are great people and can accomplish anything they set there hearts to.

Re: New week, new day, new beginning

Michelle, you are such a go-getter I know you can do this. You keep picking yourself up and dusting yourself off and coming back. It takes time to get a routine established and sticking with a whole new food plan each time gets easier. You know what you need to do and you're back in the saddle again. We're here, you know you do better when you post, so stop by and talk, even if it's about "oh I am so tempted to eat..._________" and we'll talk you down from the edge.

              HUGS to you!
