My stepson came home from Okinawa this past week to get married. I am feeling so old. When my husband and I got married he was only 6 years old. He is now a man. The funny thing is we still have a 11, 9, and 2 year old at home. My two year old son now has a sister in law. LOL My husband is 40 and I'm 35. My only hope is that I'm not a grandmother before 40!!! I'm really proud of our son. I will admit to some wedding cake, but I did eat an Atkins meal. I'm back on the no cheating track starting today.

Weddings are always so beautiful...my Dads wedding is coming up (I still feel funny saying THAT!).

Thanks everyone. She's a really sweet girl. We didn't get much of a chance to know her before the wedding. I will enjoy getting to know her while Bryon is finishing up his time in Okinawa. The poor girl came down with strep throat and spent her honeymoon getting better. They were married on Friday, and Bryon took her to the doctor Sunday afternoon. He leaves today. Congrats. I was 31 when I became a grandma (step child) but it is an awesome feeling no matter how old you are. I am sure you will make a great mom in law~Lauren~
