  • 5 minutes of Fame - Richt

Ok people the victim of this weeks five minutes of fame is me! Now you all know how shy I am, so please take it easy on me

I'll start my self off with my normal question....

What (in your opinion) is the strangest thing you have ever eaten?

    A. I ate stir fried locusts in the pub I work in. They only taste of what they are cooked in to be honest (sesame and ginger), I think its the texture that they are best for. Very crunchy. Surprise surprise.

    Next?

Hey, I don't play fair, I want to know how you and your girl friend are doing and if there are any wedding bells in your immediate future.

And, (and this is an important one) Did you ever go to see Vendetta and what did you think?

I'm busy at work so will answer each question in turn, but not necessarily at once.

Me and my girlfreind are doing really well thanks. We have now been together for a full on 20 months (my longest relationship to day) and things are still running smoothly. However there are absolutely no plans for marriage AT ALL LOL. She has been married twice before and its a case of twice bitten three times shy! Its just nice as it is as the moment.

And, (and this is an important one) Did you ever go to see Vendetta and what did you think?[/
V for Vendetta was an ok film. IMO not as good as Lucky Number Slevin but good none the less. I would recomend that you get to see it.

No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

Nothing that immediately springs to mind to be honest, but the way that my gf asked me if I would like to go to Australia with her and the children was lovely. We had only been seeing each other for 2 months, when I went round to her house one evening and she said that she had booked the flights for her and her children to go and see her brother in Australia. I was gutted as I thougth I would have to go a whole 2.5 weeks with out seeing her (i didnt tell her that though). Anyway about an hour later she said that she would like me to go to, and that she had already enquired about getting a 4th ticket. I was obviously over the moon. A bit risky booking it so early as we had only been together for 2 months, and the trip was for 8 months time. So anything could have happened, but we are still together now, a year after returning from Oz, so it was meant to be.

Whats a happy memory from your childhood?
I love how me and my brother always did so much together. and we still do now. When I was growing up, my Dad worked away quite a lot and my Mum would work in the evenings from home teaching Piano playing. Because of this me and my Brother (Will) were left to our own devices alot. We got on so well and each night we would play some kind of sport. Thats made me the competitive person that I am now

Do you like to read? Whats your favorite book?
I dont really have a favourite book as I dont like reading the same thing again. But i do prefer humorous books.
When I was young I used to love reading Roal Dahls' "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I wonder if that was instrumental in how I got so big???

Next trip, where do you want to go? Who's going with you?
I havent really given it much thought really, as I had two holidays last year, so they are on the back burner for a while. But I wouldnt mind re-visiting Spain again. Obviously I would like to go with my GF and her children. Ideally I would love to go back to Oz, but thats a little too expensive!

What music do you listen to when you want to improve your mood from down to up?
I am not a big music fan, but I'm always happy listening to something that I can sing to. Be it Oassis, Robbie Williams or Pulp! (all British, I wonder if anyone has heard of any of them?)

                    What's your least favorite exercise(s)?
I hate using the stepper machine in the gym. But apart from that I will do it all.

If you could change your body to look like anyone famous, who'd you look like and why?
Great question. To which I would answer that I am happy with my own body!

Ok thats a little boring. If I could I would change my body to look a little like Mr Pitt himself! (talk about a cliche) But I wouldnt mind having a totally flat stomach, which I dont have at the moment.

This is a tough one! But to be expected from 2big.

Ok, if I could anything I think I would change a section in DANDR which recomends ADBB to the world as being another tool towards health and happiness.

                      As it worked for me!

I would be the boss of the boss I used to have (the one that was an *****) just so I could get my own back on him! Of course I am not saying I am bitter or anything LOL

If you could change one thing about your life what would you do and why?
Easy one, I would emmigrate to Australia! (obviously in an ideal world and I wouldnt miss everyone at home). Why? Cos I absolutely love the country. The climate (in comparison the England) the people - they are so friendly and the laid back attitude.

                          When are you the happiest?
                          A number of places.

                          1) the gym
                          2) the squash court
                          3) at home or at work when I am on ADBB
                          4) at the cinema, I love being " out" of the real world.
                          5) sunday mornings cuddling in bed with GF. (something so special about a Sunday, when you dont have to get up). and btw, I put emphasis on the CUDDLING bit. Nothing untoward in this thread.

What food do you absolutely despise
There is nothing at all that I despise to be honest. I am not that keen on turkey as I find it a little dry and always prefer chicken, but there isnt anything that I wont eat.

Well exept for Bread, rice, pasta and potatoes.

I have a terrible phobia of walking or cycling over bridges! A strange one I know.

I am also paranoid of putting all of the weight I have lost back on.
