  • Well...

Hello, everyone. I haven't been here for a bit, and for that I am really ashamed. Two days have passed since my one year Atkins anniversary. I fell off the wagon a couple of months ago. I don't have an excuse why I did it; I just gave myself an option to fail.
In the course of the two months I was off my way of eating, I have regained over twenty pounds. I promised myself that I would never cross the 475 border again, though, and I plan to keep that promise.
It is for this reason that I have found my way back. I restarted my induction on the 24th. I am currently suffering through induction flu and feel horrible, but I know that it will pass; I have been here before. I can't help but feel more hopeful than ever even in the midst of this. Last year I weighed 575 pounds at this time. My life felt bleak and hopeless. Atkins was my final attempt before starting the gastric bypass process.
Now, I am 100 pounds smaller even with two months of regaining. I am working again for the first time in five years as a junior editor. The job has given me a great boost of confidence, and I feel ready to attack the weight.
Here's to a great year. Here's to losing another hundred pounds and celebrating all of our losses together. Here's to rekindling old friendships and igniting new ones. Here's to daily exercise and endless water consumption. Here's to living low carb and loving life!
    See you guys tomorrow!

welcome back to Atkins and ADBB

COngrats on your one yr anniversary and being a memeber of the 100 pounder club even if your journey did have a few deturs you have gotten back on the main Atkins low carb road and that is the important thing. that healthier smaller you Atkins will help you morph into as long as you get back to it ASAP when you detour.

Congrats on your new job too.

Welcome back Bran! Look you've already come so far! You know my husband, Kent, was about where you are now just a few years ago. Back then i would of never thought this man will run in races in a few years. He was getting out of breath just going up the stairs. But now, it's just an amazing transformation, a completely new man and he's running circles around me literally. I'm trying to catch up to him myself in terms of weight loss. So what i'm trying to say is it's possible and you can do this too! Don't give up, this is it! We want to see the new you!
as always stop in often and let us know whats up
