  • Still going

It's going slow, but it's going. Lost a mere 1/2lb this last week Thank heavens for the tape measure, it is being friendlier than the scale. I have noticed the difference in two pairs of pants too, so I'm sure the scale will catch up at some point. The main thing is I'm feeling GREAT!! I'm sleeping so much better, and that's a big deal to me, I love my sleep. And mentally I'm ready to take on the world. Love this WOL.

And since skiing season is tapering down, (it started raining on our local mountains) we pulled out the stationery bike from under the dust and I actually started using it on Friday, I rode for 1 hour. My goal is to use it 1 hour 3 times per week, unless we do some outdoors activity instead.

    Loving this WOL!!

I love your frame of mind! One of the greatest aspects of this Way of Eating is the euphoric feeling it brings with it. When I am eating on plan, I am alert, energetic, and upbeat. My thoughts are clear, and I feel ready to take on the world.

I went through twenty-five years of feeling older than I was. I never had energy or enthusiasm about anything. This caused me to see the glass as half empty for so long.

This way of life has changed that. When I sat down with my wife and told her that I was going back to Atkins recently, she found it surprising that the reason I mentioned for wanting to return wasn't weight loss; it was simply because I physically felt better than I ever have when I was eating right.

I am so glad you are finding those positive reinforcements for staying true to plan. Keep up the great effort!

      Hi NickyD

You are doing great!! I understand about it going slow, it seems to be the same way with me, but I'm smaller than I was on Jan 3 and that's an accomplishment and the same for you. Keep up the great work.

        Re: Still going

Thanx for the support ladies, right now the scale is moving in the wrong direction???? What's with that? But as soon as I have my "lack of fiber" problem sorted out, I'm positive I'll be back to normal.
