I am feeling a bit excited because I now have LESS than 100 pounds to go!
When I started this journey, I was very discouraged because I had a total of 157 pounds to lose...an entire person! I've been on induction 4 times and each time, I've lost less than I had originally (17 pounds gone on my first induction). It's coming off very slow, but at least it's coming off.
I feel better all over. My knees really feel the difference. It's so true that the weight we carry affects our bones and causes damage. I tried to be positive all the way through this, but for me it was impossible. I do get discouraged and have some bad days of thinking about quitting...like last night. The mashed potatoes that the rest of family ate were looking so good...but I knew I couldn't give in. Then there was cake, my biggest weakness...that I did not give into! And this morning, I was rewarded with a 2 pound little whooshie!
To anyone thinking about starting this way of life...there is nothing to think about. Just do it! This is the best way to lose weight, learn to eat right and feel good, both physically and mentally.
