  • Sams Club - Treats

    Hello:

I've found Sams Club to be a good friend.

They have big packs of 0 carb provolone cheese slices and big packs of mini summer sausages (0 carbs) and they also have of course packs of chicken wings which I just bake in the oven after I've drizzled a bit of hot sauce over along with some lawry's salt and regular salt and pepper. Those make a great (but messy) snack.

I've also found Sams has huge bags of already chopped lettuce for great easy salads (just like my old school cafeteria use to make when I was a kid) but you have to use it fast before it goes bad.

    Anyway, just thought I'd share.

Sounds like you've found lots of good stuff at Sams. I like to shop there too. I like to buy portabello mushrooms, mixed greens, spinach, frozen chicken breasts, cheese, etc there.

Just one word of caution. I LOVE Lawrey's seasoning salt too, but, it has sugar in it. I've started using Chile Powder mixed with salt instead of Lawrey's, and I like it just as much.

Oh yeah, Sam's Club is the best! That's where I buy my almonds in a 3 pound bag (I count them out, 20 at a time, and put them into single-serving tin foil envelopes that I cut myself, I know I know, I'm anal), waaaay cheaper than buying them in 1 lb quantities or less. I, like Miss Phode, also buy mixed greens there... I also buy big boxes of frozen hamburgers (use with my George Foreman when we are out of other options) and I've bought a big container of chipotle mustard there that lasts forever and tastes great. Also, I bought a huge jar of Ken's mayonnaise (1 gallon) for less than 5 dollars.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

      Vigilance, not perfection.
