  • Soggy Chicken Syndrome

    Hello:

I have a problem. The problem is "soggy chicken".

Basically: I bake or fry some chicken pieces and then either put them into a ziplock or into a small tupperware type container.

The next day I microwave it for lunch and it is just soggy-ish. It's a major turn off to how it was the delicious night before.

Anyone have any suggestions to fix this problem?

    Thanks,

    Jason

Try using a toaster oven instead of the microwave. That's the only way I've found to get most foods to come back to life like I've just made them.

And wrap it in alfoil rather tahn plastic (you'll have to take the foil off if you microwave, of course). I always foil wrap my leftover meat of any kind to keep it nice and stop the soggies.
