  • Induction Complete! Yay!

My induction was completed this week, yay! I lost 15 pounds, which I am ecstatic about. I know I won't continue losing at that rate, but it is still exciting.

I have decided to go on extended induction for a while, though I think I'll modify it a bit and add some sunflower seeds to my salads, I miss them. Do you think that's ok?

I still need to work on my water intake, and I have yet to measure myself though my jeans are getting way big!

I just wanted to share. I feel like I accomplished something, and I've only completed induction one other time, so this is a great start for me.

That is so great!! Congrats on your loss.

Mmmm sunflower seeds. I used to love eating them but I stay away from them (and all other types of nuts) because I had my gallbladder removed years ago and they make my stomach crazy. I miss them too!

I think there is a place in here that lets you know what is acceptable to add in during the owl stages. This forum is so huge though--I keep finding myself getting lost. lol.

Way to go! Induction's certainly the hardest part... I find that after the first month, it's mostly smooth sailing.

You're proud of yourself for a reason. You've done well!
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.

            Congrats!!

Don't be afraid to go off induction. In my opinion an extended induction is rarely required.

Occasionally I like to do induction again, but

this is about the 'journey' more than just the 'destination'.

I find it easier to learn to use low carb in the real world. It's so much harder to do on induction.

I see OWL as crucial training for the maintenance WOL.

            Again, congrats!

so how is your extended induction going? remember to reread chapter 13 often soyou kniow when to move to OWL and don't end up cheating cause you are bored with induction foods.

                Happy low carbing.
