Hello, I am on day 3 of Induction. When I logged back in, my frontpage said I had not been here since sometime in november, and I was wondering where the time goes, and how could it have been that long. But yep, it made sense. Takes a thickheaded person awhile to wake back up. So I have a few goals for myself. One is to do fitday each day. My average totals for the 3 days are 69, 6, and 25. I have to work on that. Friday pay day and shopping day. I have discovered today that looking at recipes made me quite hungry, so I need to do simple right now.I tried last time around to keep food in the house, UNHEALTHY food for my kids. This time, I am not doing that. That sabotaged me a couple days starting this week. Its not a risk I am willing to take, If it is not in the house I cannot eat it late at night.
My kids are pudgy, they don't need carbs and I will try my best to keep good veggies and fruit for them instead of junk. I never bought much pop/soda, and now I have switched everyone to sugar free and pushing ice water. It has to be a whole lifestyle change, somthing you cannot stop, or you will be in the same shape you started at. Just the facts to face, I won't ever be able to eat carbs with abandon and probably they won't either. They are boys, 17 in a month and 10 in october. I'm divorced and I so have my hands full. The water is another goal, and reading posts daily. I work with a large man 450+, honestly, we fed off of each other. Ate terrible together, and now he is trying to start this also. Variety is a key for me. My birthday was saturday. Fitday told me, to reach a goal of losing 100 pounds in one year, i needed to lose 1.6 lb a week. It actually broke it down into an amount that does not sound impossible. My goal is by my next birthday to have done that. Last time around the scale defeated me, I'm choosing to not step on them for awhile, and use measurements and clothes until I feel like whatever that number is, it won't defeat me. I have got to exercise. I swam this week , did some water aerobics, and I work 10 hour days five days a week. Fitday is very cool, it has catagories for work. ROFL, they had one that said Trip to outhouse and back. I need to find an ab challenge to join. Its good to be back, thanks for the forum to share. Lisa
