  • Hello Friends!

    Well, I am wandering between Second Timers and Century Club! I belong in both! While this is the 3rd time I think, of my being on Atkins, I have about 100-125 pounds I would like to shed!

    I lost 5 pounds my first week, and now I am on week 2! Tons of water, not a problem! I am drinking 96-128 ounces a day! Going to the bathroom like every half hour! LOL! Does that ever slow down? I go crazy! LOL!

    I have started walking for about 20 minutes a day at lunch! 2 times around our parking lot at work! I know its not much but it is a start!

    My husband is also on this here diet! He is not losing! He is eating the same things as me. Drinking the water... so why would he not lose? He has lost very well on this diet before! Any thoughts?

    Well, I am off to work now! Thank you for being here. This support is truely amazing!!!

    Welcome back! If your DH gives it time, he might just be taking awhile for his body to get going again. Also, he might need to check out what he's eating closer. If you use Fitday.com, his percentages of intake should run 65% fat, 30% protein, and 5% carbs. That is the formula that really seems to make the weight drop. The body also drops slower the second time around it seems. Best of luck. Sounds like you're doing wonderful!

      Have you ever tried posting your menu for the day here: http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=50

      That way some of the veterans could see if you are eating something that may be stalling you.
