  • Putting the cigerettes and caffeine away

Time for it all to go.. I quit smoking for 6 months last year so I know I can do it, just time to give it back up again.

No caffeine yesterday, drank a gallon and a 1/2 of water and a couple glasses of koolaid made with splenda...

Wish me luck though I'm confident I'll do fine.

You are so brave! I smoke, way too much, about 2 packs a day. I know I need to quit, I've been doing it for far too long. Don't forget to let us know how it's going! Did you set a date for it before you actually quit? I need some advice!

Pay for my jeep in 2.5 years instead of 5 is the hope.

I didn't have a day I planned to quit, just realized that once again, payday wsa 7 days away with the choice of buying ciggerettes for the week, OR getting gas for the car and dog food... the choice wasn't hard, dogs come first and I'm tired of it being broke. 2 packs a day between the two of us at 4.89 a pop ( each) is 9.78 a day.., and add on my soda habit which is 4.00 a day ( and about 1.00 for him) 5.00 a day, that's 14.78 a day that we spend on addiction.. that right there is a week worth of dog food wasted in one single day.

            Grand Total?
458.18 a month wasted in stuff we either drank or inhaled...
I can think of much more useful things that 458.00 a month can go towards.
