  • I never thought that I would say this

Man I never in a million years thought that I wouls say this, but I have found that I have to force myself to eat. Kinda of a nice problem to have... nice on the wallet as well. I went from eating 3-4 times a day to 1-2 snacks and 1 meal... and I have no desire to eat more. this is my second time around, and this time my appitete has shrunk the most. I have lost 12 pounds in the first 8 days. Any thoughts?

Isn't that just the most AWESOME feeling in the world? It's like when other people would say they forgot to eat lunch and I'd think, yah, right, I'll never forget. And voila, one day it happened to me too. I'm very glad for you.

I'm no pro at giving advice, but I'm kind of guessing you'll get some instructions that one meal isn't going to be enough. I do understand the importance of spreading out smaller meals and snacks all through the day and trying to have the vegetables spread out through the day too.

And if you do that kind of thing, then I'm sure the appetite suppressant factor and the weight loss will become second nature and will help you be that much more successful.

    Way to go!!

Just keep in mind that you should eat within 2 hours of rising and never go more than 6 hours without something. If you are doing that you are fine. Remember our bodies are like a fireplace, you have to keep it stoked to be a burner. Great job on the 12 lbs so far! Keep up the Good work!

Basically your carb level is quite low. Any amount of carbs gives me hunger.

I would have to say that loss of cravings and overall hunger is definitely one of the BEST perks of Atkins WOL. You've gotten some great advise...just keep some fuel in your body. Congrats on the loss so far. Sounds like you've got it!

weigh to go Follow Dr Atkins advice and use the 6 hr rule right now having a small protein/healthy fat snack with some fo your veggie carbs when you reach the 6 hr from the last meal mark whiul eyou are awake

remember at 300+ pounds you got lots of KCALS of energy stored on your body for use as fuel.
