  • Halls SugarFree Cough Drops..

I hope its OK to post this here..

Anyone has info the the Halls Sugarfree cough drops (in Black cherry & Mentho-Lyptus)

I have a wicked bad cough that is giving me headaches and keeping me up at night so I've been popping these back to feel better.

I've been using them for 3 days, and my Keto sticks come back '90-large' (second darkest) so I'm still in ketosis..

Is there anyone who knows if they have carbs? Nomatter the answer I have to use them or I can't function through the coughing but I would like to know if I need to try to cut back, or I can enjoy them (tasty!) without guilt.

    Thankx a bunch..

    Re: Halls SugarFree Cough Drops..

    According to this website http://www.diabeticdrugstore.com/pro...&dept%5Fid=302
    Black Cherry
    Active ingredients :Menthol (5.8mg)
Inactive Ingredients: Acesulfame Potassium, Aspartame, Blue #1,Flavoring, Isomalt, Red #40
So perhaps you should count one carb per drop as one 'serving' of sweetener.
The Aspartame is not one of the allowed Atkins sweeteners however, and some people have problems with it.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
