Okay. It has been two weeks. This part is cool....... I am down 11lbs and a bunch of inches - total of 13 so far!! Told you that was the cool part!
I haven't posted alot but have stopped in to read quite a bit.
In my previous thread I mentioned how alot of stuff had happened in the past two years. Well, heres a quick run through (minus all the gorey details) - my Mum passed away at a young age (52) due to cancer; I got really depressed; started a part time job at a middle school (first job I have had in 17 years!); started the second part time job; eldest son graduated high school (!); had a total hysterectomy (including ovaries) at the age of 35; quit the second part time job and now I am finally getting back on track with this way of eating! It has been quite the journey but hopefully the highs and lows won't be as drastic in my future.
Thanks to my estrogen patch I don't have the side effects of menopause. (yay).
My DH is doing this WOL/WOE with me so I have fantastic support. He doesn't have as much to lose as I do, but it makes life so much easier when you aren't doing something alone.
Thanks for putting up with my little ramble. For some reason I just felt like sharing this snippet of my life journey so far with all of you.
I hope wish you all the very best in your own journeys through life.
