  • How about a weekly weigh-in thread?

Why not, right? We're young, throwing caution to the wind, naked occasionally...

Let's say we make a date with the scale to keep accountable!

What day should we choose? Me, I'm a fan of Mondays because it keeps people accountable through the weekend. Still, I'm open to thoughts from everyone!

I think we need to kick it up a notch! Holidays are coming, and before we know it, Aunt Mabel's giant schlop of canned cranberry cooling-tower side dish is going to be staring at us.

That's why I didn't allow for anyone to vote for more than one day at a time (lol). One day is alllllll anyone gets choicewise!

Re: How about a weekly weigh-in thread?

I'm for Sunday, its half way through the weekend so weighing in on Sunday will remind me to make sure i have everything ready for the rest of the week since its a weekend and i have all day to do it and go in my kitchen more often since i am home a lot lol whereas i will prolly forget on Mondays. And also if i have to evaluate my loss, i can rearrange my plan easier as to what i can cook and stuff on Sunday. Not sure if this makes sense.

But i can always just post on Mondays so really the day's no big deal to me. Whatever everyone else likes.
May you all be losers, Sher

I like cheese! And I don't have any one day that is more special-er than the others for weighing. I'm in for whatever's going!

Personally, I like Friday mornings--and it keeps me accountable on the weekends. If my weight loss was high, I'm totally elated and I want to keep up my hard work through the weekend--don't want to sabotage what I've done. If my loss isn't as big as I'd hoped, it motivates me to work even harder--a longer gym session, more veggies/less cheese, etc.

                        That's a good point, too!

Maybe people who want to can weigh in on Fridays, and people who want to can weigh in on Mondays. Either way, both encompass the weekend! I just know from past experience we'd weigh in (at one group I was in) and then people would celebrate their losses with chicken mcboogers and ice cream splendays. It was rally bad. That's not to say that's what happens here, though! I just had a flashback. Luckily no Smurfs were involved. *shudder*
