No, they put it tactfully AND only in response to my direct questions. I was paraphrasing to keep it simple and short for this board. xxx

I think Helana should get an extra rep for being such a confident, cool lady!

The only problem with vbulletin is not getting the ability to rep as often as I'd like. I've hit my rep max for the day! I have repped her, though! She's one cool chica! Some of you guys I've repped twice (as vbulletin would allow).

I promise I'll keep getting all of you hep cats as the software allows it! That doesn't keep you guys from giving rep, though! Go for it! It feels great!

Way to go on keeping the positive oomphies alive!

            You're all worth it!

Re: Say something nice about yourself and I'll give you rep!

Well, something nice for me I wanted to share:

The doors of the elevators at work have those nice shiny reflective surfaces so you can see yourself quite well during the ride up to your floor. I usually take this time to reflect on how I'm looking and how my weight loss is going, and my fat googles usually come on and I see how much further yet I have to go.

Well today, even though I had my new jacket on (leather suede, my 120/125# loss reward) and I swear I couldn't believe how I looked in the "mirror". I'm actually starting to look like a "normal" person in regards to weight and body shape--shoulders, arms, a waist you can actually see and hips hiding under my shirt instead of blatantly obvious. It made me feel pretty good. Those fat googles kept trying to come back, but I ignored it this morning and just appreciated how good I was looking. And a co-worker that knows about my weight loss said to me today how great I'm looking.

              306/229/135 ~ 5'2" 77 lbs down!

              Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
              Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

              Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
              Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
              Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!

Re: Say something nice about yourself and I'll give you rep!

I'm feeling pretty tired, worn out, and a little down today so this is a good thread for me today. Had a bad night last night, very stressful, and it just left me feeling this way. But when I read this today it made me think of something my mom says. She tells me I am strong and to tell people you come from a long line of strong women. She is right I am strong, and I have dealt with or overcome many things other women could not. I am strong enough to overcome my weight issue too. It is going to be the hardest thing to overcome because it will take lots of time and I will have to stay persistant and I will because I am strong and come from a long line of strong women.

                        M'kay! I'm caught up!

With a new arsenal of rep for a new day, who hasn't stepped up yet to give themselves positive oomphies?

Step up on this fine Thursday and say something absolutely wunnerful about yourselves!

Century Club or not, if I haven't repped you in the last few days, I can rep you again!

I've already stepped up and given a shout out, but roomer (I just HATE spelling errors! Rumor...geesh!) has it that you are at times giving out TWO oomphies! HUH!

I haven't smoked for 3 days counting today (said really quickly and quietly)...

LOL...no need for tictacs...I'm just really proud.

I did not eat one single sweet thing this week of Halloween! And I'm a recovering chocoholic! There has been constant donuts and cookies and cakes at work this week. Then, we had a bunch of candy leftover (not too many trick-or-treaters), so I gave it away to the middle school kids I volunteer with. Soooooo proud of myself and DH!!

My will power has surprised me1
