Being so far from all my family and friends makes for a pretty quiet day.....
My son and I went out to the shops so he could get me a gift - he got me my favorite perfume and the matching deoderant. Alyssa Ashley Musk. Chase is such a sweetie - he made me a card and a diploma for being his Mom. So that was very special. I am blessed to have a thoughtful and wonderful son.
My sister called me first thing in the morning to sing to me over the phone. Relatives called from the states.
I had flowers sent from the states. DH brought some home. I was allowed to order some books and the walk/jog WATP tape - so they should be coming soon.
Then last night I rented a movie for me to watch after everyone was asleep - "The Family Stone" - was a good movie.
Thats was my day. I had a nice birthday.
