  • down side to WATP

yes there is a down side.
I went from walking from the fridge to the couch - occasionally taking Ralphy out - once a week food shopping. Yep thats it. To put it bluntly I was very lazy
Now I walk 35 miles a week right there in front of the TV with WATP.....well thanks to WATP I now have to order some jeans!
I wore mine out with all my walking!

So the down side - I must now ask DH if I'm allowed to order some new jeans - which cost money - fingers crossed for a go ahead and order!

wore out the jeans ?? I wore out my shoes on the treadmill and had my pants fall off but didn't get holes in them. maybe you could get some sweats for the exercise time and spare your jeans..

Just show him the holes and you should het them

Tam, that is awesome. I'm still in awe of you turning on that TV 10 times a day. How easy it would be to just brush off one or two... but, nope, you are steady and commited. It's wonderful!

2big, I may be mistaken, but I think Tam needs new jeans because she is smaller, not because she wore them out walking.... Which is it, Tam? Inquiring minds want to know!

Tam, may be a silly question, but how does walking away the pounds work?

Do you sort of walk on the spot? (its a serious question btw) I have no idea.

I haven't had a chance to approach him with the request yet....I'll let you know what he says. and I will show him the worn out jeans - good idea thanks!
Oh wow 2big! I want my pants to fall down too! Cool
I have some sweats, but they are already worn between the legs - I'm really lucky that they didn't catch fire with rubbing together lol. Sweats wear out faster I think....so its the jeans I'm a hoping for!

Thank you! I amaze myself every day when I complete my 10th WATP! Some days it just goes so fast! Such a difference from just sitting all day!
I'm not ready for a smaller size yet, won't be for a while - I squeezed into these for so long or used to....now the waist is up high and the legs are getting baggy. Makes me so happy.
              So its wore them out

Not a silly question at all
The WATP tape I have is walking/marching in place. So yes, walking on the spot.
I make sure I start off on the same foot as Leslie and keep time with her so I do what she does. Then we do side steps and kicks and knee lifts.
I can only manage 1/2 mile at a time, but I am proud for doing that. Its a really excellent tape - especially when one has as much "cocoon" as I do

we had a topic a long time ago abut how to improve clothes for the CC folk and somebody said quietly reinforced inseam area so they don't wear out before the rest of the pants and don't announce your presents 2 blockes before you get there.

hope you get them and don't have to do like that famous topic about getting in jeans in the most meorabile topics talks about to get them on.

How great for you to be walking so much! Here's to wearing out however many pairs of pants it takes to be healthy!!

Is WATP a good workout? Say compared to going to the gym or the treadmill or something?
