  • Hey cc'ers - are you exercising?

I've started an exercise challenge for those of us who aren't exercising, though we KNOW we're supposed to! It's perfect for CC'ers or anyone else who has been putting off exercising for one reason or another (myself included!). We're going to start very slowly and work up our stamina and physical abilities. Take a look, and hopefully join me!

I am, although not in the last week, 3 hours round trip commute to training used up all my daylight hours.

But November was my best mileage month for '06.

A great idea. I'm now doing a 5km walk at least 5 days weekly, and, excitingly, my times have started coming in under an hour, a big jump up for me.

But when I started at 131 kgs (290 lbs) I had to go very slowly. I had Achilles tendon injuries and had an opld air walker. I could only do about 3 minutes to start, but gradually worked up and now can do big wealks, weights and so on. Slow and steady wins the race!
