    Guess which Atkineer I met over the weekend?

    Fr1endly2...Lisa! We ended up between...she came up from NY and me down from MA to meet in CT and it was totally unplanned. I was there for a Cheering Competition for my eldest daughter and she was on a weekend getaway with her family. We just passed each other in the hallway and it was a total OMG moment!



    Funny how you talk here for years and then VOILA!

      It never ceases to amaze me of how easy and how effective this ***diet*** is!!




      I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

        Isn't it funny?? Not planned at all. I hadn't talked to her much of last week as I was busy with prep for the competition and general stuff. Her chance to go only played out on Saturday after her son's fever passed (and we were already there). I was taking my daughter to the bathroom and she'd just come from that direction with her son and we looked and laughed...instant recognition! She'd traveled 3 hours to get there (ferry & bus) and I'd driven 2 hours and never suspected we'd run into one another.

        HUGE Casino, and I'd left the arena to go get lunch with my youngest (the elder was warming up with her team and coaches) and was way way way down near the food court (figures we'd meet up near food huh??).

        Total fluke but what fun! Lisa's daughter & mine have been pen pals for a bit over a year as well but have only exchanged photos at Christmas.

              I totally got the chills reading your post! How awesome that you recognized each other - it was ment to be!
              Isn't it the BEST meeting in person.....when Becky and I met in AZ a few years back it was such a wonderful experience.
              Thank you for sharing with us.....now you guys have to "plan" on Vegas Vacation 2008!

                  YES this was awesome that we ran into each other!
                  I would have posted sooner but i couldnt remember my
                  password for beans.
                  MY daycare is very busy these days im watching
                  a baby so getting on his hard!

                            I love stories like this. I once took a vacation to the UP of Michigan. My family was climbing up to a look out area on a very, very remote lake called Lake of the Clouds. We are up there looking around and next to us was our neighbors from home. We were the only people there. Neither of us told the other we were going away for the weekend. We were about 10 hours from home. It made for a good laugh.
