  • How Much To Lose?

    Hey Guys,


    I currently weigh 326 on a 5'3' frame.
    The last time I lost a bunch of weight, I was 209 and I looked really good. That was 20 years ago. I did a liquid diet back then. This time I am doing Atkins (extended induction) and working out. How much weight should I lose, or should I just use the mirror as my guide? I am losing slower this time than I did back then as well. Quelle surpree!

    The thing I fear most is loose skin, so I do alot of sculpting, and I take flaxseed daily.

    While the mirror is a great guide, I'd suggest measuring yourself (bust, waist, hips, arms, thighs at least). Sometimes when the pounds aren't coming off, the inches are.

    As far as how much to lose goes, do you remember how much you weighed when you felt your best? Also remember that you're a little older now so that weight could make you look sickly (not that it would for sure, I'm just saying. Heck, if I weighed 120 now, I'd look like death!) lol! I always heard that we do lose weight slower as we get older and I found that it's so true. Grrr! lol!

      I have some skin issues myself but the more i work out the more it tightens. Keep it up and you will succeed

        Many Atkineers post that they can wear smaller sizes even though they are at a higher weight than they were before putting weight on!! So you might surprise yourself as to how your body slims down!!
