  • Monday thru Sunday Water 5/7--5/13

    Good morning water buddies. The weeks are flying by on us. It is hard to believe it is already Monday again. Last weeks water consumption was fantastic. You all did a superb job and I was proud of everyone once again. My pledge is for 140 ounces this week. Drink, Drink, Drink, I wish all of you a very hydrated week.

    Oh! That's right! New week. Oops, been up a while and haven't drank a drop of water yet... Time to get the ol' stats going.

      I am having trouble getting my water in, so thought I would join in. My true goal is 150 ounces a day, but thinking so far am getting about 70 or so.... so this week, 100 or more ounces a day.

            Whoa! How's the water bill?! LOL!!

            The amount of water I'm releasing isn't jiving with the amount I'm taking in. Got my sixth bottle going but man, I don't know if I'm getting ready for a major whooshie or what??! LOTS of water coming out!! I've been trying on different clothes again and, by golly, I'm getting into more of them!!

              I agree with Terry! Dang.... you must be floating!

              Glad to be here Terry.

              On to the liquid matters.... I have about 10 ounces left in this bottle and that will put me at 100... but, the night is still young so you never know.

                  I am up late, usually until midnight, sigh.... and up at 6:00.... you know though, I remember reading somewhere that sleep was very important in helping lose weight. Maybe we should start a sleep thread ....

                      I made all 100 oz a day for last week- so I'm going to try for the same this week- monday was 100oz too!

                      current weight as of:
                      goal: 168-175 pounds then we will see if I need to lose any more.

                      **well...I had a cheat, after a great start- and I'm starting again...just because I owe myself a clean slate.

                        Okay, drank my 100 ounces of water... went and weighed and to say I am bummed is putting it mildly.... up 0.6 pounds...

                        why oh why, I could say it is water weight, my body getting used to the water, could be the extra stupid splenda and cream that I have been eating because of my stupid sweet tooth, yeah, that's the ticket, water, splenda and cream... I really do feel like a waterlog though. Not giving up, will keep plugging away, cut down on the sweetner, cream, and keep the water coming and my body should adjust, right?

                        If not, maybe I could succeed at the Sleep Challenge...

                          Got my bottles in yesterday but the last two are too close to bedtime. I REALLY need to finish them up sooner! Don't know if it'll ever happen but it would sure be nice not having to get up in the middle of the night for bathroom trips.

                          Hey, Lizzie. I'm a recent convert about the scales. If you're working out and still losing inches, don't sweat it... Make your focus inches and smaller clothes for now. Because you may be developing good muscle which is what you want! (Although I'm with you on the Splenda...I stopped using it again myself.)
