  • Help me rededicate

    Hello all.

I have been on Atkins for two years now...that is up until about 2 months ago. It started off with little cheats. We have been have some financilal issues and I just decided that Atkins was costing me too much and I needed to quit. Well....I have gained about 10 pounds in no time flat. I have to be on Atkins. I can't affford new clothes. LOL The insanity of it all!!!!

I am here today to ask for help. I am hopping back on the wagon today. I know what to do, but I need some encouragement.

I am feeling fat, ugly, sluggish, and just plain awful. Help me get to feeling good again. I love how I feel when I am eating clean. I want that back.

BTW, my original starting weight was 250. I got down to my lowest of 185 in February 06. I am now around 199.

I will also check in with this board 2 times a day.

I am off to make an Atkins meal and then take my kids swimming.

Thank you all for any support you can throw my way.

I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

      Hi!

      Okay, here's some support:

      AND

please stop calling yourself names. "Fat, ugly, awful..." Would you call someone else that?

      Probably not.

I've found that I have greater successes when I'm nice to myself (but firm) than when I'm mean to myself.

Let's go on a diet (DIE-IT) that cuts out self-deprecation. I'll join you!

        Thanks for the positive vibes.

All three meals today were induction friendly. I'm feeling better already.

Checking in with this board is what helped me before and I know I can do this again.

I'm having a good day so far. I'm going shopping today. I'm dreaming of a good roast with some wasabi mayo on the side. Steamed green beans with butter sound good too.

Thanks again for the positive thoughts.

I am, too, food-, water-, and vitamin-wise. I haven't been able to work out at all yet, though, because the stomach got icky and I needed a nap. (Adjusting to daily medicines after recent surgeries.) I hope it passes soon because I want to work out and do NOT want to be eating saltine crackers to settle the stomach down.
