  • I am really trying

    Well, it's Saturday. I've been doing good with my water. Sometimes it's hard to get going in the morning, but I have been catching up in the afternoon/evening. I notice that the first 2 bottles are the hardest to get down, but after that it just becomes like a habit.

    I have cut out all coldcuts/lunch meats completely. I hope that will help me to do better. And I've been trying to pay attention to calories. I mean, I'm not starving myself by any means but I do want to watch. I had no idea that a plain hamburger patty had so many calories in it compared to chicken. Wow... I think I was previously eating way too many calories the first week. I'm trying to eat more chicken and salads. In otherwords, I'm still trying to get all my fat without all the extra calories.

    I did weigh myself the other day, I just didn't post it here yet 259lbs! I am not a happy camper but it's not as high as I thought. So... I have a "weigh" to go. And I am just short of 5'4. So... my first goal is to lose a size by Halloween, but I think I will pump it up to 10lbs. Well, I will weigh myself tomorrow and figure that my goal will be 10 lbs from then. I think I like Sunday as a weigh day.

    Not much on the agenda for today. I would like to do something with lots of activity but we'll see.

      Well done on getting your water in
      You are right, once you get started drinking it gets easier!!
      Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

        It does get easier drinking the water.
        You're doing a great job and I think it's wonderful that you're putting forth so much effort.
