As people having more weight to lose than others, we come to Century Club for that extra support from people who truly understand what it is to lose 100, 200 or more pounds. And historically, Century Club has been a place where people of all sizes can find some sound advice and support.
So, I'd like to ask you all what are your "go to snack" ideas? After three plus years, I've gotten so that for me, it is all about planning. I plan so that I always have a snack that is easy to eat on the run.
Personally, I go through phases with snacks. Hard boiled eggs are always a staple for me. I boil a dozen or so eggs on the weekend and use them throughout the week for a quick brekkie or snack or on a salad or use them for deviled eggs or make an egg salad and use celery dippers with it.
I also like chicken wings and manage to steal a few for my snacks from hubbies football food stash! He doesn't even realize that he's eating low carb. If I told him he wouldn't believe me.
I make some meatballs with hamburger, some onion, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, chopped celery and an egg for a binder. Even have hidden a little cheddar cheese in the middle of them. Use your imagination and put anything you think should be in a meatball as long as it is Atkins friendly. The nice part is that they freeze well and thaw quickly.
What are some of your ideas? In my mind, we can never have too many!
