First let me say that I am happier, I have way more energy, and my husband is happier (if you know what I mean) since starting Atkins.
I am way less achey, and I am not winded as easily. I can get up in the morning and walk down the stairs without having to walk around for 10 minutes.
My shoes are fitting better. Actually, some of my shoes are better. I can't seem to find shoes that don 't give me blisters except sneakers. But regardless.... I am able to wear shoes again that are not sneakers. I still have a ways to go before all the shoes will fit me but I am happy with the progress.
I am generally thrilled with my progress so far except...
I thought I would have lost a clothing size by now.
I am still wearing and fitting into the same clothing I was before I started. They are a little bit looser, I will admit. I have gone down about 2 notches in my belt. I am not hanging out of my bra anymore, and my shirts that have shrunk are just starting to fit a little better. But it is all the same size 22/24 and 3X tops. I so wanted to be in at least a size 20 and 2X by now.
As far as pounds lost, I am not sure. I was going to weigh myself every week, but I've decided that that could sabotage me. I'd rather wait.
My question is to you.... How many pounds, or how much time did it take those who have been my size, to go down to the next size?
Anyway... sorry for the ramble... I know I have made great strides in the last month and 1/2 or so... I guess we just always want more.

Sizes don't determine anything anyway... it's how you feel and you seem to be feeling great!
