Please send me some good energy and positive thoughts. I have a job interview to go to in about one hour and I am starting to get very nervous.
I really would like to get this job. I would be working with women and children of domestic and sexual abuse. It is my dream to work with families that have been abused. As some of you know from past posts, I am a domestic violence survivor. I was abused physically, sexually, mentally and emotionally. I know first hand the devistation it causes to families. I feel this position is my purpose.

Re: I Have A Job Interview - Nervous
Well... Looks good. I got a call this morning and he asked if I would like to have them begin the background check.. So, YAY!! It's so funny, even though I know I have nothing to worry about with a background check, I still worry. What if someone used my name for something. It's always in the back of your mind. I am just so excited guys, this job is a dream come true for me. It's what I am meant to do. Thanks for the support everyone! I appreciate it very much and it helped me get thru the interviews for sure

Re: I Have A Job Interview - Nervous
Congrats-good luck with the background investigation, I'm sure it will go great. I worked as police detective for several years dealing with juvenile sexual assault victims. Having been to literally hundreds if not a thousand domestic violence/abuse calls over the years, I truly understand how important this work can be for the victims/survivors. It was very rewarding work (sometimes depressing), but the good always out weighed the bad, which made it worth while.
Good Luck and thank you.
